Deep ruby red color, with aromas of spices and ripe red fruits combined with sweet pepper. On the palate, ripe, complex tannins emerge with a fine acidity that gives the wine great personality. Medium intensity, with a long finish that fills the mouth and invites you to continue drinking. This wine is ideal for pairing with Gruyère, Reggianito, Camembert, and Parmesan cheeses, as well as seasoned dishes, especially red meats.
La Azul is a small winery located at the foot of the imposing Cordón del Plata, part of the Andes Mountains, in the Uco Valley, the heart of Mendoza province. For generations, since Francisco Hinojosa arrived in these lands more than 60 years ago, we have cultivated grapes to produce high-quality wines, but it wasn’t until this century that the dream of all those generations became a reality. In 2003, Bodega La Azul was born.
